Hai there! Pfff, it's hot and sweaty up here....I guess it's sticky everywhere in Europe, except for a few welcome showers in between. Just got home from a much needed holiday in Prague. Beautiful, picturesque city, but the heat, smokers and the tourists were almost too much to bare. I've enjoyed it anyway. Musically as I'm recharging my batteries for the next bunch of songs, I usually use my time to see what's happening with my songs. Luckily I've especially released a few instrumental albums through these last years and even a few of my vocal songs have been used by some fervent videomakers. Now, through my network, some guy/ girl from Dollumentary ("I’m a novice OOAK doll repainter") contacted me via the Reddit community. He/ she liked my songs and voila:
Songs used:
Lovetown Guru
Do It Again
Live It Up
DJ Craig Charles (of BBC6 Funk And Soul Show) put my song "Not Now" on his DJ chartslist+ here (whatever that means). All funky, hypnotic songs to move your stiffie hips.
Thanks for playing!

You know Bandcamp, yes? Streamable and fun to use and to discover under and above radar music. Next to my regular JoosTVD profile I have now created a second one: JoosTVD2, his instrumental twin. Already featured as licenses on Jamendo, it's all about spreading these groovy vibes even more. Curious videomakers will surely find something that can fit their tasty frames. Move your pictures.
Get hooked then, oi!
Yes, here's the 5th one in the series just after the 4th. It's for you videomakers, who need a few fitting tunes to enhance their moving pictures. Potential listeners can enjoy the grooves and melodies of course...if you don't like my voice, haha. Couldn't wait for another instrumental album (only released on Jamendo folks!), just before my regular album "Just Say kNOw" comes out (sooner than I think). Really? That makes two instrumental albums en one vocal album in 2018.
No, no, no really... it's all about quality! It's just that I've been kicked around too long by these songs, begging me to let them out. Now you can play them. Need vocals on them tunes? In about week!
Next to my regular (vocal) albums, I've always got a few other fitting tunes to offer as a license. To use as background music for example. Jamendo is a wellknown platform for this with a world-wide network.
This album consists only existing songs from "Lightning Dutchman [2015]", remixed and remastered only as instrumental tracks. Vol 5 and ... 6... will be next...this year.
4th (mostly all) instrumental album only available on Jamendo.
Especially for those who need some supporting music (videomakers and
advertising folks) to promote their stuff. Your images will never sound
better!
The songs have a streetvibe in them with the familiar themes, like
danger, paranoia, crowded, fighting, busy. You can expect a lot of
irresitable grooves (latinesque, funky) and tuneful melodies on top of
them.
Sunday afternoon, sun on my head, feet on the floor. Relaxing, enjoying the springtime, slowly creeping in the sky.
I've been collecting all of those (JoosTVD) radioplays again. I was just wondering how to find those radiostations.
I'm grateful for them, because it has widened my audience of listeners all over the planet. The list keeps on growing, so with a list I try to make sense of it all. There are such highpoints if a broadcaster has chosen my songs for his/ her shows, like when Tom Robinson played "Bomb Won't Go off" on his prime time, saturday evening BBC6 radio show. A recognition from a musical hero of mine is like "winning" an oscar.
Some DJ-less radiostions have a playlist that have regularly featured the same songs, so the list is long.
Twitter gives you a pretty good idea which songs (old and new) have been played so far. Search for Joos TVD and voila: Twitter search for Joos TVD radiowaves
High five to inspiration!
Creating that appetizing magazine, searching for the right song to fit within a certain mood on a page.
Sometimes I'm really surprised about how instances like this food platform have found my music. They've used my song for their flashy magazine, supporting twitter: Tweet
It has been featured twice in 2012.

Once in a while I come across "JoosTVD" songs supporting videos on youtube that really take me by surprise. Some of these songs are 10 years old! I've got nothing to do with these promo videos, but it's nice to see what other people add to to what once was an idea popping out of your head and pooring out of your fingers...so a few here to illustrate that.
Another one on a spanish documentary site: WALK BY THE EXHIBITION 'EXCRETA. AN EXPOSITION
Songs used in the video's are: Bomber Drone, Shark In The Disco, Circus Monkey, Sow Motion Dream, Stupid Song(s), Tweet.
Ps. (alert! commercial intermisssssssion) Need some of my music? I've got two instrumental albums "For Your Pleasure 1 & 2" on Jamendo readymade, waiting to inspire you!
